Privacy
Your business data stays your business.
We collect as little as possible, use it only to build and run your CYLO systems, and never sell anything about you.
01
Only what you send us
What we collect
When you email us, we keep your name, email address, business name, website address, and whatever you tell us about the project. This site has no forms, no account signup, no tracking pixels and no advertising cookies.
If you call a CYLO number answered by our AI receptionist — the greeting tells you so at the start — we also keep a recording and a written transcript of that call, along with anything you give us in it: your name, your business, a callback number, an email address, and what you are asking about.
02
Announced, recorded, transcribed
Calls answered by our AI
The receptionist says at the start of the call that it is an AI and that the call is recorded and transcribed. If you would rather not be recorded, hang up and email us instead — you will get the same answer from a person.
We use the recording and transcript to follow up on what you asked for and to improve how the system handles calls. We do not use them to train third-party AI models.
If you book a call, the date and time and the details you gave go into our calendar, and a summary of the call is sent to us by text so somebody knows you rang.
03
To reply, scope, and build
How we use it
To reply to you, to scope and build your demo, and to run the systems you hire us to run. We don't sell your information, share it with advertisers, or add you to mailing lists you didn't ask for.
04
Your accounts stay yours
Your business data
A website we build for you lives on a domain in your name, and the code is yours to take. Your customer data stays in your own tools; we do not copy it onto our servers.
When we run a receptionist for your business, the calls belong to you, not to us. Your callers' recordings and transcripts are your records; we hold them only to operate the service for you, and we hand them over or delete them when you ask.
05
Connected on your behalf
Third-party services
Calls are carried and answered using Retell, which runs the voice AI and stores the recording and transcript, and a telephony provider that connects the call. Bookings are made through Cal.com and written to Google Calendar. Call summaries are sent to us by SMS through Twilio.
A receptionist we run for your business connects to your own calendar and your own phone line. Each service is governed by its own privacy policy.
06
Kept only as long as needed
Keeping and deleting data
Call recordings and transcripts are kept for 30 days and then deleted. What you actually asked for — a booking, a callback, a question we owe you an answer to — is kept with the rest of our correspondence.
We keep project correspondence for as long as we work together, plus what bookkeeping law requires. Ask us to delete what we hold about you and we will, promptly. That includes a call recording: email us and it goes.
07
A person will answer
Questions
Email us and a person will answer. This policy may be updated as the service evolves; the date above is the last revision.
