Answer it anyway

The alternatives
With a customer in front of you, or from the top of a ladder, half-listening. The caller hears all of it.
Most people don't leave one. They call the next name on the list instead.
Priced by the call, staffed by someone who has never set foot in your business.
What it does
Hours, address, prices, and whether you do the thing they are calling about.
Reads your calendar, offers real slots, writes the appointment in.
Name, number, and what they actually want — texted to you as the call ends.
Someone who asks for a person gets a person. It does not argue.
Your number
Nothing is ported away from you and nothing is installed. Your line points at the receptionist under conditions you choose.
A new number you start handing out. The one you have carries on exactly as it does now.
It rings you first. Four rings or a busy signal and the call rolls to the receptionist instead of voicemail — which is what covers your evenings.
It answers every call and puts the ones that need you through to you.
Every one of these is a setting on the line you already own, or a new number that leaves it alone. Nothing is ported away from you and nothing is installed. The one that matters most is the middle one: after hours you are not answering anyway, so no answer is what puts an evening call in front of something instead of in voicemail.
When it doesn't know
The expensive failure for a receptionist is not silence. It is confidence about something that is not true.
Your prices live in one place and are handed to it at the start of every call. It holds no copy of its own to go stale.
In the opening line, before anything else, along with the fact that the call is recorded.
A question it cannot answer becomes your callback, with the question attached — not an answer somebody invented.
What it costs
The price includes a person. We set it up around your business, connect your calendar, test it with you before it takes a real call, and change it when your hours or prices change. That is the difference between this and an app you configure yourself.
Owner-operated
$199/mo
One calendar, one place to send a call. You are the one who shows up.
Team
$299/mo
Calls routed to different people. Up to three calendars and three call destinations.
The call figures describe what each tier is built for. Billing runs on AI minutes — 500 and 800 — so a month of more, shorter calls than the estimate costs no more, as long as it fits the minutes. Your monthly fee comes back in full. Usage billed beyond the plan does not, and the guarantee covers a first subscription, once per business. Cancelling stops the next renewal rather than the month in progress.
Getting started
01
Day one
Your services, your hours, your prices, the area you cover, and the requests you turn down.
02
Within a week
Configured, connected to your calendar, and answering — on a test line you can call as many times as you like.
03
When you say so
After hours, on busy, or for everything. You pick, and it can change later.
04
From then on
Who rang, what they wanted, and what it told them. If something is wrong you tell us and it changes.
Start here
No form and nothing to fill in. The number is answered by the AI receptionist — it says so, answers what you ask, and books you in if you want.
Who you’re dealing with
CYLO is a small studio in Chicago’s Northwest suburbs. The people who build your site and set up your receptionist are the people who answer your email. There is no account manager in between.
